What started as swag for a career fair is now available for sale!

The story behind the swim club is simple. When visiting a career fair, we needed swag. Like anything we do, we wanted to make a bold statement and so we rebranded. If you know us, you know we like to do things differently. Why give out cheap pens that will end up in the ocean or expect anyone to advertise for us for free by carrying a tote bag when we could give out stylish quality garments? People liked them so much, they wanted to buy them. While we love giving our swag out, it’s also really expensive to make.

Our sweatshirts are made by Inka’s Print in Austin, TX. We worked with Deaf Queer makers to get these done! Purchasing a sweatshirt from us supports their shop as they are our only supplier. 

Money from sweatshirts goes directly to causes Flamingo Interpreting supports like sponsoring interpreting services for Queer nightlife in New York City. Each year we also spend thousands of dollars providing services to Deaf creatives in Hollywood who are working to make more Deaf content. Selling these helps us do that too.
